Wild Wadi Dubai is a 12 acre water theme amusement park in Dubai city. It is located at the Jumeirah Beach, one of the glitzy and luxurious areas of this city. Though guests have to pay an entrance fee of Dhs. 150 (adults) and Dhs. 125 for children, people staying at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the seven star hotel of Burj Al Arab can enter free of charge. Since guests come to Wild Wadi Dubai to seek adventure, the park provides all measures to keep the guests safe with lifejackets, rubber rings, bodyboards, and life guards. Wild Wadi Dubai has coupled adventure with an Arabian folktale and has brought out the most exciting rides for adults and children alike.
Wild Wadi Dubai is a place where fun and enjoyment is never ending. It is open all through the year. The park opens at 11 am in the morning and has different closing times over the year. In January, February, November and December it shuts at 6 pm, in March, April, May and September it closes at 7, while in the summer months it closes at 9 pm. Saturdays is for families only, while on Thursdays the park is open exclusively for women. The slides and rides at Wild Wadi Dubai allow guests to go crazy and water sports lovers can enjoy themselves at the water park's wave pools.
Wild Wadi rides include Master Blaster, Ring Rides, Jumeirah Sceirah, Tantrum Alley, Burj Surj, Breaker's Bay, Flow Rides, Juha's Journey and Juha's Dhow and Lagoon. There are 8 Master Blaster rides in all and they are roller coasters which send people upwards to a height of 15 meters with the help of high-intensity water jets. Ring Rides are slides which take people seated in a ring downhill. Both rides involve single as well as double seating for guests.
The Jumeirah Sceirah will give you the view and thrill of a life time. From a height of 108 feet, this slide allows you to see the Burj Al Arab, Madinat Jumeirah, the Arabian Sea and other famous sites of this area. People have been known to reach up to 80 kmph while coming down the Jumeirah Sceirah. Tantrum Alley is the latest addition to Wild Wadi Dubai. It pairs the excitement of a slide with three tornadoes to ensure you have a rocking and thrilling ride. Burj Surj is yet another slide which will send your would spinning into a spiral as the tube carrying the guests descends into a bowl.
Breaker's Bay is the largest wave pool in the Middle East. The above rides are for adults only and this wave pool allows even children to join in the fun. Flow Riders has two wave pools- Wipeout and Riptide. Wipeout is the perfect place for surfer buffs. This pool produces waves by shooting 7 tons of water in a thin sheet across a moulded foam structure. Juha's Journey offers relaxation (guests can float over a river of 300 feet), while Juha's Dhow and Lagoon is a seventh heaven for children.
